Thing-A-Week for 2012 Jan 1

This year Calla and I are going to post one picture per week and post a short journal entry about the pic and how life is so far in this week of 52. At the end we will have 52 pictures and comments about our year 2012- because- well- what else is there to do?

I got in the habit, this Christmas, of taking pictures outside my front door. At first, on Christmas Eve, it was actually a green Christmas and then it snowed and it looked so nice I started taking these pics.
